Richmond County sheriff’s investigators asked the public’s help Saturday after finding a man dead in a residence off West Wheeler Parkway.

Lt. Calvin Chew identified the victim as Tyrone Parish, 41, of the 7400 block of Exuma Drive.

The body was found in the residence about 9 p.m. Friday and is the 27th Richmond County homicide this year, Chew said in a news statement.

The investigation is still in its early stages and more information will be released when available, he added. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office at (706) 821-1080.
