An armed robber got away with $35 from an Augusta store Saturday afternoon.

Charlie Deal, the owner of the Charlie Deal Country Store at 3320 Milledgeville Road, told officers that about 4 p.m. a man came into his store wearing a mask and carrying a pistol and demanded money, according to a Richmond County Sheriff’s report.

When Deal gave the man the money, the alarm went off and the robber ran out of the store, heading east on Golden Camp Road.

Deal described the robber as a short black male in his 20s, 140-150 pounds, and wearing a green shirt and brown jacket.

Deal should have reported

Deal should have reported $10,000.00 stolen and the hood-rat thug would have given himself away when he went to the police and stated that the amount was only $35.00......book 'em Dan-O!

Considering the inventory

Considering the inventory they have in that store, I'm surprised they had $35. As far as the crime rate in that area, it's more like every day. A lot of the minor crimes go unreported for fear of retaliation.

Thank you seenitB4, and it's

Thank you seenitB4, and it's not just the punks, it's some of the adults, too. Some of the so-called male or female punks are learning their behavior from their parents' or other adults' mentorship. And yes, while I lived in the area I reported stacks full of incidents, trying to keep it from getting worse, and the retaliation took a lot of different forms, some blatant, some more insidious.
