Aiken County authorities are searching for a 20-year-old Warrenville man who shot a woman Monday morning in Gloverville.

Sheriff’s Capt. Troy Elwell said Dustin Moxley shot his 33-year-old girlfriend in the cheek about 6 a.m. at her home in the 300 block of Old Carline Road, then fled. Moxley is being sought on charges of attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime.

The victim’s wound is not considered life-threatening. Elwell said the bullet grazed her cheek.
