A shoplifter got away with $1,635 in electronics from Walmart in North Augusta on Sunday morning.

According to a North Augusta Public Safety report, Walmart’s loss prevention employee told officers a black male entered the store, at 1201 Knox Ave., at 8:15 a.m. He spent about 45 minutes inside and filled his shopping cart with a 32-inch Samsung TV, an Acer computer and monitor and three Sony PlayStation consoles.

He then went out through fire exit, where a silver Chevrolet Malibu met him. They loaded the car and sped away, according to the report.

Pure trash......hope they

Pure trash......hope they catch them but I doubt it. Apparently they will all be needing to put security or extra employees on all exits from now on. This sounds like someone who works there or has worked there may have had something to do with this, I mean how did they now that an alarm would not go off with it being a fire exit?
