Electronics worth $1,750 and a $400 pressure washer were stolen Wednesday from a home in the 2400 block of Belfair Lakes off Gordon Highway, according to a Richmond County sheriff’s incident report.

Donald Eugene Autrey told police someone kicked in the front door and stole a Nintendo Wii, a 50-inch plasma television, a portable DVD player, a Sony PlayStation and a pressure washer. The incident occurred between 6:50 and 11:55 a.m.

Unpublished

WATCH OUT people, put your belongings in a security safe or hide them in the attic. My fiancee's apartment was also broken into off of Alexander Drive and word is three more apartments were broken into off of Bertram Road. They stole a Garmin GPS and all of her jewelry and her roommates jewelry. The thieves are out early for the holiday season!

Not to make light of someone

Not to make light of someone losing items to theft. However the way the stolen items are listed appears like one of those IQ test questions. The question could read like:

Select the item from the list that is not an electronic item:

1. DVD player
2. Nintendo WII
3. 50" TV
4. Pressure Washer (gas type)

Gee! I have to think about that one for a bit. I'll answer the other questions and get back to it.

I wonder if the writer failed that question in school. Pressure washers generally don't fall under the electronics category.
