Richmond County authorities believe robberies at four convenience stores might be linked.

In each case, a white male armed with a shotgun or rifle and a black accomplice robbed the stores while wearing dark clothing and masks, according to an incident report.

Triangle Gas, 4002 Deans Bridge Road, has been a roibbed twice – Oct. 27 and Nov. 7.

Over the weekend, two more stores were added.

Authorities said the duo robbed Circle K, 3755 Wheeler Road, around 5 a.m. Saturday and Jack’s Grocery, 4643 Mike Padgett Highway, around 10 p.m. Sunday.

A witness saw a white late 80s to early 90s model King Cab truck leaving Jack’s Grocery. The tailgate of the vehicle was described as being down or missing.

It is unknown whether the vehicle was connected to the robbery.
