Police are searching for 20-year-old Kevin “Macaroni” Roney in connection with a shooting that occurred Friday night.

Julian Williams, 18, was shot in the chest about 8:30 p.m. Friday in the 1800 block of Jenkins Street, according to a Richmond County Sheriff’s report.

Williams was still in critical condition Saturday night at Medical College of Georgia Hospital.

According to the report, Bridgette Dozier, 42, told police that when she had returned home she saw several people carrying Williams out of her house. When she saw he was bleeding from the chest, she put Williams in her Jeep to take him to the hospital. When Dozier got to the Circle K at 1739 Walton Way, she saw an ambulance in the parking lot and asked for help.

Dozier said that while they were at Circle K, Roney came into the parking lot looking for her car, but fled when she confronted him about shooting Williams.
