A burglar stole more than $1,500 in electronics and a gun from an Augusta apartment.

Deputies responded to a call about 4 p.m. Friday in the 1000 block of River Ridge Drive, according to a Richmond County Sheriff’s Office report, after a neighbor noticed a door forced open.

A 42-inch flat screen TV, an Xbox 360, a Nintendo Wii, a laptop and a shotgun were stolen.
