Thousands in tools stolen from Thyssenkrupp Elevator

More than $6,500 worth of tools were stolen from an August a business Thursday night.



Someone broke into Thyssenkrupp Elevator at 3301 Commerce Drive by removing the air conditioner unit out of the bathroom window, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

Among the items stolen were a tool box worth $4,000, a Hitachi battery drill, a Dewalt cordless drill and side grinder and a laptop.

Folks have got to start

Folks have got to start bolting their AC units in or gain more right to defend their stuff. This is one reason why there are so few jobs. If you're unemployed, thank a theif. Crime cost U.S. all...if we don't stop crime, crime WILL continue stopping U.S.

If insurance companies

If insurance companies refused to insure after such break-ins perhaps businesses would be induced to a even higher security level to begin with.
