Richmond County authorities seek paper towel bandit

 

Richmond County authorities are searching for a man caught with a truck bed full of stolen Bounty paper towels.

According to an incident report, a deputy passed the black 1990 Chevrolet on Deans Bridge Road about 4 a.m. Wednesday and noticed the towels sticking up from the truck bed.

When the deputy caught up the truck on the 1600 block of Gordon Highway, the driver and passenger jumped from the vehicle and fled on foot.

Authorities have determined the packs of paper towels were stolen from Luck Land, 4706 Deans Bridge Road, on Monday evening.

The driver has been identified as 38-year-old Tyrone Suber.
