Beauty supplies and jewelry valued at $5,000 each and $200 worth of truck batteries were stolen from the B&B Variety Shop on the 1600 block of Olive Road, according to a Richmond County Sheriff’s Office incident report.

Between 2 p.m. Friday and 4 p.m. Monday, an employee said someone gained access to the store by pushing in a window air-conditioner unit.

Four glass-display cases and a filing cabinet were damaged in the theft. The door of a shed on the corner of the property was also damaged, but the stereo and cash register inside the shed were not taken, the report states.
