Augusta house gutted of wiring

  • Follow Crime & courts

Thieves ripped all the wiring from an Augusta home Wednesday, leaving nearly every wall damaged, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident occurred just two days after its new owner closed on the Koger Road home.

The perpetrators removed wiring valued at $2,000 from the attic, walls and crawl space of the residence, the incident report says.

Ask yourself why price of

Ask yourself why price of wiring has tripled and held during the period of the biggest drop in construction since records kept?
Where were the neighbors ?
Where were the police patrols (I know, silly question).
Anyone going to cry when the poor thieves (sooner than later) shot ?

When anyone is found to be

When anyone is found to be guilty of this type criminal offense the punishment should be plain hard labor. Not cutting grass or picking up trash ,I mean put in jail and at daybreak made to get up go out in a field, like that behind RCCI and made to dig a ditch all day. Then next day fill that one in and then start another one.Ive worked with picks and shovels all my life and it didnt hurt me.Im not educated (ged) and at 62 dont have a criminal record. They need to be taught this kind of behavior is not tolerated in civil society

We need wiring that fights

We need wiring that fights back. When you come home, the thieves are stuck to the wiring like mosquitos to a bug zapper.

Every time you pay your property taxes you pay to raise up another fresh batch of these thieves. Stick them in jail and try to shoot them all you want but they will keep marching them out of public schools and onto our streets and into our homes untill we change what they are teachhg them there.
