NORTH AUGUSTA -- A North Augusta man has been charged after child pornography was discovered on his computer.

According to North Augusta Public Safety’s Chief John Thomas, investigators issued a search warrant on the Linnet Loop address Friday and have charged William Berry, 28, with sexual exploitation of a minor.

Thomas said charges will not be filed against Berry’s roommate.

The investigation is part of a joint effort with the South Carolina Attorney General’s Internet Crime Task Force.

Thomas said more charges are likely to come in the case.
