An 18-year-old was robbed and beaten with a rifle when he tried to buy marijuana from a stranger early Saturday , according to a Richmond County sheriff's report.
The victim said that at 4:40 a.m., he went toward the woods near Dogwood Terrace in the 2000 block of Third Avenue, where the stranger told him to strip and struck him in his right ear with a dark rifle, according to the report. The stranger took the man's jeans, socks, wallet, $30 and a pair of $150 shoes.
