A Richmond County Superior Court jury convicted James T. Daughtie of all charges Thursday evening. Daughtie shot 25-year-old Delestern D. Kyler to death and wounded Ozzie B. Jones in the early hours of Aug. 19.
Investigators think Daughtie followed the men from a nightclub to a Waffle House and to Cherry Tree Crossing housing project, where the shooting occurred.
Daughtie was visiting a relative in August, just weeks after his release from a federal prison. He had been convicted of drug dealing in 2004.
