A 30-year-old Aiken man is behind bars after he exposed others to HIV, according to a news release from the Aiken Department of Public Safety.
Jason Alexander Young, of Mossback Circle, has been charged with first-degree harassment and exposing others to HIV.
Authorities said they also are investigating whether Young impersonated a law enforcement officer.
The department is asking those who are concerned that they could have contracted HIV from Young to contact the department at (803) 642-7620.
Yes, I was wondering just how he allegedly exposed them. Used needles? Sex? It's a vague story so far.
POSITIVEGUY...im sorry but im not trying to be politically correct when i say this...there is no normal, healthy life when you have HIV which eventually leads to AIDS.
It is talk like that of positiveguy that leads to people unknowingly contracting HIV. When your lifestyle causes the contraction of such things, there should be no political correctness about it (I personally think being PC about anything is BS). If you know you have HIV/AIDS and have contact (any form that can transmit the virus) with a person who is not infected and do not tell them about it, no matter the form of contact, then you should be charged with attempted murder. If they contract AIDS, then you should be charged with murder when they die.
I wanna send out my deepest sympathy to the women that this man has exposed this deadly virus to......If you are not married or in a committed relationship never trust a man that much, not to protect yourself.
