An Evans man was robbed at gunpoint in the Wild Wings Café parking lot late Wednesday, according to a Richmond County Sheriff's Office incident report.
The 20-year-old victim told officers he was unlocking his vehicle around 11 p.m. when two men approached him with a handgun.
The victim said he had previously seen the men slowly circling the restaurant parking lot at 3035 Washington Road in a light blue minivan, possibly a Chrysler.
They told him to put his money on the ground, he said. .
After taking $27, the men re-entered the minivan and drove toward the back parking lot of the restaurant.
Did he happen to mention a description of the men?
countyman says this man really just engaged in a financial transaction and therefore it really isn't a crime that should be counted.
More political correctness. Withholding descriptions.
Nothing like watching a non-anonymous person incriminating himself before he attempts to commit a crime....
I agree with where's a description? Are we looking for the two to still be riding in the mini van? Do you not want citizens help in possible catching them? Were there no cameras in the parking lot? More info please.
Evans is the new West Augusta, West Augusta (where this happened) is the new South Augusta, South Augusta is the new East Augusta, East Augusta is still East Augusta.
Can't go anywhere without these wastes of flesh. Come on where are the good headlines, victims kill losers who tried to rob them??? I hope every one of these lowlifes get the sentences they deserve that our bleeding heart justice system won't give!!!!!!
Fiat, you got that right. It's sickening. We could deter much of this if we'd start sentencing these wastes of flesh appropriately. They barely deserve to breathe much less live in this great country. Thank a bleeding heart today!!!!
geez...and to think I only used my mini-van to run the kids around and for shopping...
fiat lux...... The victim was from Evans, and RCSO responded to WW Cafe.
Tricky
What was tricky about it? Fiat's post was dead on and seemed perfectly clear on who was where and what is where? I could see at first glance without readin the whole thing where you may think Fiat was confused, but read it again, it's spot on!!! =)
