Church reports vandalism, thefts

Authorities are looking for whoever vandalized an Augusta church and removed some items, according to a Richmond County sheriff's incident report.

The suspects entered the property of Calvary Deliverance Church at 844 Scott Nixon Memorial Drive and spray painted the roof and a children's play set with black paint, police said.

Israeli and Christian flags were also removed from the front of the building, police said.
