Police seek 3 after woman robbed at Kroger

Woman's wallet containing between $6,000 and $7,000 snatched from Kroger counter

Police are searching for three males they say stole at least $6,000 from a Kroger shopper last week.

A surveillance camera captured video of the three males snatching a wallet off the customer service counter at the Evans grocery store and then leaving on June 16.

The wallet's owner, a 57-year-old Appling woman listed as disabled in a police report, said it contained between $6,000 and $7,000, her driver's license and a credit card.

Anyone with information about the theft should call the Columbia County Sheriff's Office at (706) 541-2800.
