Man tells police shots were fired at him

Richmond County police were called to River Glen Apartments shortly after midnight after a man reported that someone shot at him.

According to a report from the sheriff's office, the 22-year-old victim said that a man driving a green Chevrolet Monte Carlo with a white front bumper fired six or seven shots at him from the car.

The victim said he then fired six shots at the vehicle, hitting it behind the driver's door.

Oh, I guess it's news when

Oh, I guess it's news when you shoot back. Okay. I didn't think getting shot at was newsworthy; it happens so much around here. I figure you report it, hope they believe you even when they find the projectile and/or the casings and that's the end of it until the next time.
