Knology was recently acquired by WOW! Internet, Cable & Phone, and some customers are wondering how this will affect their service rates.
Abu Khan, former general manager of Knology in Augusta and now vice president and general manager of WOW in Augusta, said customers need not worry.
“Rates are not going to increase based on this merger,” Khan said. “We’re always looking at rates, and we want to make sure we give our customers the best value for their money. The bulk of our rate increases are related to programming cost increases. But we (WOW) are known for providing highly competitive pricing options.”
Khan said customers with service-related questions or concerns should continue to call the same numbers they used for Knology.
He said WOW has won 14 J.D. Power and Associates awards for customer service in the last nine years.
