We have laptops, iPhones, iPads, Kindles and a long list of other devices. What else do we need? According to a Wall Street Journal report, a smaller iPad.
News of this smaller iPad was leaked by Asian component manufacturing companies, who have been charged with making a smaller LCD screen for Apple. There were rumors earlier this summer that a little iPad would debut sometime in October, after the big September media event for the iPhone 5. These reports from manufacturers seem to confirm this.
The baby iPad is conjectured to measure 7.85 inches diagonally, and will probably have a lower quality screen.
The 2012 presidential election is fast approaching, and regardless of who you’ll be voting for, there are ways to support your candidate in style.
Both the Romney and Obama campaigns released collections with a vintage, distressed look. Romney’s vintage collection is directly inspired by his father’s 1968 bid for president, with a loopy Woodstock-esque font. The shirts are $30 in the MittRomney.com store.
President Obama has a T-shirt for sale in a distinctly retro theme, with 1970s athletic stripes and a big 44 for our 44th president. Those shirts are $30 in the BarackObama.com store. Obama’s T-shirt collection also features pieces from his celebrity supporters including Marc Jacobs, Nanette Lepore and Alexander Wang. Those are a bit more expensive, a scarf running for $95 and a T-shirt for $65.
