As gas prices start to rise again, two retailers are offering fuel savings for customers.

Through Dec. 24, Walmart is holding its Save More on Gas event. Shoppers can save 15 cents per gallon at participating Murphy USA and Walmart gas stations when they use the Walmart MoneyCard or Walmart Credit Card.

Or, Walmart customers can save 10 cents per gallon at participating Murphy USA and Walmart gas stations with a Walmart Gift Card, according to the store’s Web site.

For more information, visit www.walmart.com. Under the “Save Big Now” category on the left side, click on “Save Up to 15 cents a Gallon on Gas.”

Kroger is extending its summer fuel promotion, allowing customers to save up to $2 per gallon of gas, through Dec. 31.

Kroger customers earn 100 fuel reward points for every $100 they spend at Kroger. This saves them 10 cents to $2 per gallon at Kroger fuel centers. For instance, when a customer redeems 100 points, they save 10 cents per gallon. When they redeem up to 2,000 points, they save $2 per gallon.

Kroger customers can earn points in three ways:

1) They earn one point for every dollar spent at Kroger.

2) They earn double fuel points on all gift cards.

3) They earn 50 fuel points when they have prescriptions filled at Kroger pharmacies.
