Veterans with the Augusta Warrior Project will visit local manufacturing facilities Wednesday to learn about job opportunities.

The Augusta Warrior Project has partnered with the Augusta Economic Development Authority to grant access to those veterans in the following five plants: Solvay, DSM Chemical, General Chemical, NutraSweet and E-Z-GO, according to a news release issued by the development authority.

The tours will let veterans meet with human resources personnel from each company.

The Augusta Warrior Project is a non-profit organization that connects veterans with resources to assist in securing housing, education and employment.
