  • Follow Local Business

Musician and Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Kandi Burruss has added her third franchise fashion store in Augusta.

TAGS Boutique is at 3412 Wrightsboro Road in the former Ross Dress for Less space. The shopping center is in front of Augusta Mall.

In 2009, Burruss and friend Peaches Chin opened their first “luxury for less” boutique in Smyrna, Ga. A second store later opened on Peachtree Street in Atlanta, according to the store’s Web site.

The Augusta store carries women’s clothing and accessories, and has four employees.
Burruss, a Grammy Award-winning songwriter, has appeared on Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta reality show since its second season in 2009. The Real Housewives franchise, which now has several installments in cities across the country, follows the lives of a group of women.

Burruss has several other business ventures that include a record label, production company and her own reality show on Bravo.

Two different shopping centers

The store is located in the smaller center near Eyemart, and not the big shopping center with Ross(still open)..

Hopefully better stores do end replacing everything in the larger center except for TJ Maxx and the Avenue..
