The Chick-fil-A in the Augusta Exchange will close temporarily in April for renovations.
The restaurant on Robert C. Daniel Jr. Parkway will close at 10 p.m. April 5, with a reopening tentatively set for mid-May, said the restaurant’s marketing director, Lillian Huber.
The building will be gutted for a total remodel, Huber said. It will be the first restaurant to feature the new Chick-fil-A concept.
The dining area will likely remain the same size but will have a new layout and decor, she said.
The location was chosen for renovations because of its high sales volume and community support, Huber said. The restaurant opened in 2000.
