TAC Media, the umbrella brand created last year for The Augusta Chronicle along with its portfolio publications and digital products, has lined up representatives from Google, VendAsta, Constant Contact and Engine 212 to speak about digital marketing at the Legends Club, 2701 Washington Road, Augusta.
Four sessions, each lasting three hours, will be held at 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. on March 20 and 21.
The summit was organized in response to business leaders wanting more education on digital advertising, said organizer Nathan Edwards, who is vice president of sales for TAC Media.
“We have set up industry experts to talk about this from a completely unbiased point of view,” Edwards said.
Scheduled to speak at the event is Hearst Newspapers Senior Vice President Jeff Folckemer, also president and CEO of LocalEdge, Hearst’s local digital marketing services and digital
and print directories company.
Topics to be addressed include social media presence, ensuring Web sites work across various platforms and how to keep current customers engaged, Edwards
said.
Registration is free but required because space is limited.
