Harold Barrett started his home-based Commercial Property Services to focus on eco-friendly lawn and property care in Richmond and Columbia counties.
Barrett said he began using environmentally sound practices while managing resorts in Columbia and Myrtle Beach, S.C.
“I received a tremendous amount of positive reactions from guests who were thrilled that we were taking a healthier, cleaner approach,” he said.
Barrett has three employees.
Services are available for hotels and resorts, malls, schools, homes and similar properties.
Barrett said that while the startup equipment is more expensive, the extra cost will be worthwhile in the long run. The company promises to use chemical-free products.
