Caskets & More moves to new location

  • Follow Local Business

Caskets & More Inc. has moved down the street to another location on Walton Way.

The previous address was 1712 Walton Way. The owner of the building sold the space the business was leasing there, said Sharon Murdick, the owner of Caskets & More.

The retailer has relocated to 1819 Walton Way.

The new location is smaller, measuring about 1,000 square feet, but it has more parking. It’s also safer for customers to enter and exit the parking lot, Murdick said.

“The parking is so much better,” she said. “At the other one, there wasn’t enough parking, and people had to pull straight out into Walton Way, which is risky at times. I just see that it’s more convenient for my customers.”

Caskets & More sells caskets, urns and granite monuments.

Because of the new location’s reduced space, Murdick said she has to keep some of the monuments outside.

“We don’t have a lot of room for all the monuments that we were carrying before,” she said.

In addition to providing caskets, urns and monuments for people, pets and organizations, Caskets & More also designs commercial signs for businesses.
