Oxygen Fitness Studio expands

  • Follow Local Business

Oxygen Fitness Studio has expanded into additional space in Surrey Center.

The boutique fitness studio opened at 375 Highland Ave. in January and now occupies a second storefront at 357 Highland Ave. The space is the former Fetch Dog Treats.

The 1,000-square-foot space is used to offer personal training sessions, owner Rich Iannacone said. Oxygen Fitness Studio offers group fitness classes and personal training with independent instructors.

“Business is going well, and we just needed a little bit more room to train our clients,” Iannacone said. “Surrey Center is a great location for business. We couldn’t have picked a better place to start this business up. It’s been working out really well for us. We found a niche here in Surrey Center and plan to be here for a long time.”

Iannacone said his first space measures 3,000 square feet.

He said he is considering opening additional studios.
