Elaine Johnson, who owns the business with her husband, Mike, said the move was done in an effort to cut down on overhead while still serving their customers.
“We’re just trying to keep from having to close our business,” she said.
Johnson said the new warehouse is about 4,000 square feet.
The Carpet Place, formerly at 3690 Washington Road, has been open for seven years.
“It’s working for right now,” she said.
