Interest in condominiums in the J.B. White’s building is strong, according to property manager Adelle Dennis, with 10 condos sold and one more under contract since the stalled building project’s completion.

The J.B. White's building, located at 936 Broad St., has 10 condominiums on the market, ranging in price from $151,500 to $247,000. Forty-one units remain unsold.

The condos were completed in April, and 10 of the remaining 41 unsold units are currently listed for sale.

They range in price from $151,500 to $247,000 and in size from studio to three bedrooms.

In 2009, the former J.B. White’s department store went through foreclosure procedures after the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. seized control from the failed Haven Trust Bank. Construction on the condominiums was halted after a handful were done. Rialto Capital Management purchased it through a structured federal sale.

Rex Property and Land LLC is handling property management and sales.

Excellent.

And New Moon's coming to the building will be a boon to the project's success.

The story is kind of

The story is kind of confusing the way it talks about 10 being sold, but then says 10 are on the market. So 10 have been sold and 10 are available for sale now of 41 remaining unsold units? $151,500 isn't my kind of price for a studio, but that's probably not bad for historic downtown real estate. 10 sold since April doesn't sound too shabby, either. Good on them. They look like pretty swank places from the photos I've seen.
