Operation Employment Career Expo on July 18

Goodwill Job Connection Centers and the Augusta Warrior Project have teamed up to support local veterans and their families with an Operation Employment Career Expo on July 18.

The event will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Warren Baptist Church, 3123 Washington Road.

The career expo is designed to draw awareness to the military community and bring businesses and job seekers together. More than 20 vendors and businesses will be on-site with job openings, according to a release.

The event is free and open to military and civilian job seekers. The expo will also feature community resources that support military families.

Vendors and businesses participating in the expo include Shaw Industries, Marriott, Teleperformance, SITEL, Parsons Government Services, CVS, Spherion, The Exchange, Neighbor to Family and Right at Home.
