The Toyota dealership had been across the street in a building that was about 18,000 square feet.
Co-owner Bob Richards Jr. said the new dealership was built to improve the car-buying experience.
“We were operating out of a very old facility, and we wanted to have a better experience for our customers,” he said.
The dealership has a larger parts department and an air-conditioned service write-up area. While the old showroom could only house one small car, the new showroom has space for as many as eight vehicles.
Richards said no additional employees were hired for the move.
The dealership cost about $2.7 million and was built according to Toyota Image II specifications, the latest design by Toyota.
