Job expo set for March 29 at Augusta Career Center

The Georgia Department of Labor’s Augusta Career Center will hold a job expo March 29.

The event is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon at 601 Greene St. The expo will feature employers, educational institutions and resource agencies that help job seekers.

Some employers will be hiring, and others will discuss possible future employment opportunities. Organizations will also provide educational and other resources.

Companies expected to participate are Augusta Technical College, Century 21 Jeff Keller, CSRA Transportation, Doctors Hospital, Enterprise Holdings, First Bank of Georgia, Fort Gordon Exchange, Georgia Health Sciences University, Goodwill Industries, International Paper, Kelly Services, Lowe’s, McDonald’s and Solo Cup.

Applicants should bring several copies of their resume and be prepared to complete applications and interview for jobs. Available positions will include part-time, full-time, entry-level, supervisory and management positions.
