Family-owned Treasures For Your Home to close in June

  • Follow Local Business

A family-owned furniture store in business since 1964 has started liquidating its inventory to close business in June.

Treasures For Your Home owner Fleming McInnes said aging family members and a recent tough economic climate is forcing the business to shut its doors at 1708 Wylds Road.

The furniture store is also seeking a buyer for the building behind Augusta Mall.

McInnes said he has about $2 million in inventory to sell.
