Marco's Pizza expands to Grovetown

  • Follow Local Business

Marco’s Pizza has been in the area less than six months, but the specialty pizza delivery store is already expanding into Grovetown.

Shawn Skrip, area supervisor for the Augusta-Savannah area, said this expansion is just part of Marco’s plan to have at least six stores across the Augusta area by 2014. The store on Furys Ferry Road has been successful so far, Skrip said, and he looks for the same in the new location.

“It’s one of the most up-and-coming areas in the CSRA, and it’s growing really quickly,” he said. “It’s better to get out there now than later.”

The Grovetown store will be open Oct. 24, but the grand opening will be Nov. 1. There will be giveaways at the new location and the Furys Ferry location, and 15 customers at each store will win free pizza for one year.
