MAU Holds Job Fair Wednesday

MAU Workforce Solutions will hold a job fair on Wednesday to fill more than 45 job openings at local industrial sites. The positions will pay up to $15 per hour.

The job fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Jameson Suites at 1062 Claussen Road. Job fair attendees will be interviewed on a first-come, first-served basis for consideration in the available positions.

MAU is seeking applicants to fill the following positions:

Aiken: machine operators, diesel mechanics, quality techs

Augusta: slab plumber, warehouse tech/stand-up forklift

Beech Island: stackers/packers

North Augusta: MIG flux core welders (welding students)

All applicants must submit to a background check and drug screening. A wide variety of shift models and shift schedules are available. All job fair attendees will be entered to win one of three $25 Walmart gift cards. They should also ask about the MAU Associate Referral Program, which includes a potential $50 bonus
