Spring break is quickly approaching, so residents will have five extra days to entertain their children. Have you figured out how your kids are going to spend their time off from school?
If you're a member of AAA, you can get discount tickets to the following Atlanta attractions, according to AAA Auto Club South:
- Georgia Aquarium: Save more than $3 per person.
For adult tickets (ages 13-64), the cost for a one-day ticket through AAA is $21.95. The gate price is $25.
For a one-day premium ticket (includes 4D Theater), the cost through AAA is $25.95. The regular price is $29.17.
AAA members can save $1 for the Planet Shark Exhibit upgrade. They will pay $6.41. An annual pass (includes Deepo's Undersea 3D Wondershow) is $55.95 for AAA members. The gate price is $60.18.
- Six Flags Over Georgia: Save $15.
A one-day ticket is $29.95 for AAA members. The gate price is $44.99.
AAA members save only 50 cents for a season pass, however. They pay $49.49 instead of the regular gate price of $49.99.
- World of Coca-Cola: For adult tickets (13 and older), AAA members pay $11.95. The price at the gate is $13.89. For children (ages 3 to 12), AAA members can purchase tickets for $7.95. The gate price is $9.26.
- Fernbank Museum of Natural History: AAA members can save $4 on the museum/IMAX value pass.
While in Atlanta, AAA members also get discounts at restaurants, including 10 percent off at Hard Rock Cafe.
If you'd like to head to Florida for spring break, try the AAA discounts at Walt Disney World Resort, Busch Gardens and Sea World and Universal Orlando.

Consider Jekyll Island, Ga., as a vacation retreat. The Days Inn & Suites has several packages.
