Stars and Strikes family entertainment center planned for Augusta

A metro Atlanta-based developer of family entertainment centers has announced it will build a 55,000-square-foot facility on Wrightsboro Road.

The company, Stars and Strikes, said Wednesday in a news release it would open the $6 million center, which will feature 24 lanes of bowling, an arcade and multistory laser tag arena, at 3238 Wrightsboro Road in the North Leg shopping center in Richmond County.

The entertainment center would be the company’s 10th Georgia location and its 11th total.

“We have seen and heard demand for our unique brand of entertainment from the families and residents of Augusta and the surrounding area over the past few years,” Chris Albano, managing partner and co-founder of Stars and Strikes, said in a statement. “With these families in mind, we are excited to bring a brand of family-focused entertainment to the Augusta area that guests of any age can enjoy.”

In addition to the smoke-free bowling alley, the Stars and Strikes center will feature its Escape-ology “escape room” puzzle attraction as well as the company’s signature 7/10 Grille restaurant and Main St. Lounge, a full-service bar with big-screen TVs for sports viewing.

A 200-seat event center will be available for private parties and corporate and community events.
