  • Follow Business

Club Car is recalling nearly 1,000 of its gas-powered golf cars.

The Augusta-based company told the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission that the fuel hose could separate from the fuel tank, posing a fire hazard.

No incidents have occurred, it said.

The recall involves 950 Precedent i2 and Signature gas golf and transport vehicles.

Club car, please recall all of your golf carts off public roads. SC has seen fit to allow them to roam public highways. You have issued statements in the past that as to the fact that your carts are not built for public roads. Please inform SC of this before someone else is killed on one and sues you for their stupidity.
