International Paper’s Augusta mill is accepting applications for International Paper Foundation grants through Aug. 31.
The International Paper Foundation gives grants to nonprofit charitable organizations classified as 501(c)(3), in addition to certain municipal, county, state and federal entities, such as school districts and fire departments.
The foundation provides grants for environmental education, literacy and employee involvement.
It provides support for short-term, critical civic needs within the community where International Paper operates and organizations outside of the focus areas where employees actively volunteer, according to a release.
All grants will be reviewed and money will be distributed after Oct. 15.
