Club Car recalling 100 utility vehicles

  • Follow Business

Club Car announced a recall of about 100 of its 2012 Carryall and Villager utility and transport vehicles because of a potential crash hazard.

According to the recall filed with the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the brake pedal mounting blocks can crack and separate, resulting in a loss of braking ability.

Club Car has not received reports of the brake pedal mounting blocks breaking, however.

A list of recalled models and serial numbers is available at the Consumer Product Safety Commission Web site, www.cpsc.gov.
