Bounce TV, a national broadcast network designed for black audiences, launched Sunday in Augusta on WFXG-TV 54.2.

Bounce Augusta will feature a programming mix of movies, live sporting events, documentaries, and inspirational faith-based programs.

The network has a multi-year rights agreement with Urban Sports Entertainment Group to televise both football and basketball games from the nation’s largest black athletic conference, the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association.

My problem with this change

My problem with this change isn't what kind of content the new channel has. (As a kid, I would watch In Living Color on BET for hours and hours because it was some of the most original and hilarious comedy I've ever seen.) My problem is that ThisTV was a terrific station that I kept on all the time, and now I can't watch Stargate SG-1 on the weekends. :(

Considering the history of
Unpublished

Considering the history of Black people in America....heck, the world, what is wrong with a channel catering to their needs of entertainment?

How many black people are on t.v. nowadays?...for something other than that dumb stuff?

If I am not tired of seeing all of these white people on t.v......I KNOW there are more talented black people out there......but why not give them a presence on the television....except for that buffon type behavior that we see on most other shows? Thanks Flava Flav!
