Battle of Aiken reenactment this weekend

On Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 22-23, witness the reenactment of the Battle of Aiken. Visit the encampments of soldiers, sutlers and others as they re-create life in February 1865. Gates open both days at 8:30 a.m. and battle reenactments take place at 2 p.m. You might even meet Gen. Lee or Gen. Jackson. Admission is $10 for ages 13 and older and $5 for ages 6-12. The reenactment takes place at 1210 Powell Pond Road in Aiken. For more information, visit battleofaiken.org.
