South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley will address the Aiken Republican Club on Wednesday, honoring retiring state Sen. Greg Ryberg for his service and talking about how the Supreme Court’s ruling on health care will affect South Carolinians.

Haley has been mentioned by some as a possible vice presidential candidate for Mitt Romney. She has said she wouldn’t accept the slot if offered.

The meeting will be held at Newberry Hall in downtown Aiken, and registration will begin at 10 a.m. A ceremonial signing of the recent pension reform legislation championed by Ryberg will take place at 11 a.m.
