Aiken Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame named Best Equestrian Attraction in SC

The Aiken Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame and Museum has been named South Carolina’s Best Equestrian Attraction for 2012 by The Official Best Of.

According to an e-mail from Lisa Hall of the Aiken Parks, Recreation and Tourism, The Official Best Of researchers spend at least two months each year compiling collections of the best attractions and destinations in each state.

A video promoting the Aiken Racing Hall of Fame is featured on The Official Best Of web site and will be aired on television at a date to be announced later, Hall said.

The Racing Hall of Fame is open from September to May, from 2-5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and Sunday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, weather permitting. For more information, call (803) 642-7650. The video may be viewed at www.officialbestof.com.
