A 19-year-old was shot in the head while in his car Sunday night, police said.
Yuvanda Pope told Aiken Public Safety that her boyfriend, Moses Williams, drove her home around 11:30 p.m., Lt. David Turno said.
Shortly after she went inside, she heard what she thought was a gunshot, ran back outside and found Williams, of Princess Lane in Aiken, slumped over with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the head.
Pope’s sister, Shawiday Pope, shoved him over to the passenger side and drove him to Aiken Regional Medical Centers, where he was later pronounced dead.
According to his obituary, Williams was a 2011 graduate of Aiken High School, and he had a son in Columbia.

What is wrong with the Aiken/Augusta area? People have gone crazy!!!!
Not really..
It's thug vs thug and its been around forever. And it's everywhere, not just Aiken/Augusta.
And in 98% of the crimes, the victim and attacker have records. Says ALOT!
Apparently Aiken has no problem according to a remark that one of their commissioners make on the news after the last officer was shot....he stated that the crime committed there is from people who aren't from there. I guess if it makes them feel better to believe that they good for them! I see it as a very ignorant remark to make.
This is the result of government raised children. No punishment,no child left behind. See what happens with "time outs" as punishment?
Cozzster, you do know that Aiken is in SC, right?
cooperhead, you are correct, this is the result of the entitlement programs and the democrats and black leaders spreading the entitlement mentality.
