USC Aiken to host Winter Nocturne Concert

A Winter Nocturne Concert to benefit the University of South Carolina Aiken’s Music Department will take place at the university’s Etherredge Center at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19.

During the past six years, pianist Damira Feldman has presented solo performances as well as lectures and master classes in Russia, the United States, France and the United Kingdom. She currently teaches piano as a member of the adjunct faculty at the Visual and Performing Arts Department of Broward College in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and is the founder and musical director of the Miami Outstanding Piano Amateurs Festival.

Tickets are $15 and can be obtained by calling the Etherredge Center Box Office at (803) 641-3305. On Friday, Jan. 20, USC Aiken will host a group of elementary and middle school pupils for a demonstration and performance.
