Man charged with attempted murder in Aiken County shooting

Gary Antonio Robinson, 29, of Langley, has been charged with attempted murder, burglary and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime, after police said he shot a man around 5 p.m. Wednesday at Huber Clay Road and Jones Circle.

Charges have been filed in a Wednesday afternoon shooting in Langley.

Gary Antonio Robinson, 29, of Langley, has been charged with attempted murder, burglary and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime, after police said he shot a man around 5 p.m. at Huber Clay Road and Jones Circle.

The 46-year-old victim, who has not been identified, was taken to the emergency room with a gunshot wound to the upper back.

Robinson has a history of arrests with the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office dating to 2003.
